Job Summary:
A Modular Construction company is keen to hire a
Qualified Chartered Accountant
with
2+ years of post qualification experience
for Manager - Accounts role, ideally worked in a Big4 / Real Estate Company. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the books of accounts, statutory compliances, preparation and finalization of financial statements, leading the internal and external audit teams. collaborate cross functional teams for preparation of budgeting and forecasting, ERP implementations and mentoring the accounts team.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Accounts Management:
Manage the entire accounts function with accountability for accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery across all books of accounts.
Oversee bookkeeping, reconciliations, adjustments, and transaction records, ensuring books remain streamlined, accurate and audit-ready.
Compliance & Regulatory Stewardship:
Take end-to-end responsibility for statutory and regulatory compliances, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other applicable requirements.
Monitor regulatory updates regularly and integrate necessary changes into company practices proactively.
Audit & Assurance:
Lead preparation and coordination for statutory, internal, and external audits.
Ensure smooth reviews through comprehensive documentation, accurate reconciliations, and timely closure.
Financial Reporting & Insights:
Prepare and finalise financial statements, management reports, and cash flow statements in alignment with best practices.
Collaborate with the finance team on budgets and forecasts, providing analytical insights to support business performance.
Systems & Controls Enhancement:
Strengthen existing accounting processes and contribute to ERP implementation or upgrades for improved scalability and efficiency.
Establish controls for inventory, project-level accounting, and resource utilisation to safeguard accuracy.
Cross-Border & Specialised Transactions:
Apply working knowledge of export, import, and forex-related requirements; manage associated documentation and regulatory adherences as relevant.
Support certification and oversight of financial documentation, including transactions connected to valuations and company filings.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Support:
Work constructively with other teams to embed processes and systems, enabling smooth integration of finance into operations.
Provide clarity and support to stakeholders, fostering confidence in financial practices and outcomes.
Team Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing:
Guide and educate team members through hands-on involvement, promoting a collaborative and learning-focused culture.
Encourage transparent communication and shared problem-solving across the team. Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
Key Requirements:
Strong foundation in accounting, statutory compliances
Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, preparation of financial statements and cash flows, and audit coordination (internal and external).
Experience in ERP implementation or upgrades and in handling large-scale data and high-volume transactions.
Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite; open to leveraging new tools and technology (including AI-driven solutions) for efficiency.
Prior exposure to multi-location operations or service-based organisations;
background in construction/infrastructure or training from a Big 4 firm is valued.
Fluent in Hindi and English, with strong communication skills for cross-team interactions.
Willingness to travel occasionally for business requirements.
A professional who takes ownership, adapts quickly, upholds integrity, and contributes to building a collaborative, forward-looking finance function.
Good to Have:
Working knowledge of export, import, and forex-related obligations is preferred.
Familiarity with employee benefit accounting, and related documentation will be an advantage.
