Job Description:

·

Lead end-to-end machining shop operations (CNC turning centers, VMC, HMC, special purpose machines). ·

Achieve daily/monthly production targets aligned with PPC. ·

Ensure adherence to quality standards, drawings, and customer specifications. ·

Control rejection, rework, and process variation through root cause analysis. ·

Optimize cycle time, tooling cost, and machine utilization (OEE improvement). ·

Drive Lean, Kaizen, TPM, and 5S initiatives. ·

Plan manpower deployment and develop supervisors/operators. ·

Coordinate with Production Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch. ·

Monitor cutting tools, fixtures, gauges, and process capability (Cp/Cpk). ·

Ensure compliance with ISO/IATF and safety standards.

Key Skills & Competencies

·

Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and tooling. ·

Expertise in process planning, line balancing, and capacity planning. ·

Understanding of GD&T, drawings interpretation, and quality systems. ·

Exposure to heavy component machining (if applicable). ·

Leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

OEE ≥ 85%. Schedule adherence 100% as per PPC plan. OTD 100% as per plan. Shop Floor 5s & TPM Practices Pillar Targets. 1 Kaizen /Man/Month Cost Reduction as per target Inventory reduction as per Target Productivity Improvement, Increase in Output/Man Quality – Inhouse PPM
