Founding Electronics / Embedded Systems Engineer (Partner role)

Problem We’re Solving: We’re building KIRI AI, a next-generation AI-powered smart toothbrush that enables daily oral health screening at home. Oral diseases affect billions globally, yet detection is late, expensive, and clinic-dependent. Our product converts a daily habit—brushing—into a preventive health assessment, combining hardware + firmware + mobile app + AI.

What We’re Building Smart toothbrush with: Embedded camera + LED illumination Custom PCB & low-power electronics Firmware + SDK for camera & data handling Mobile app + AI model integration (AI provided by partners) Designed for manufacturing, scale, and global distribution

Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for a high-caliber Electronics / Embedded Systems Engineer who wants to build from zero and take ownership.

Strong preference for: Students from Tier-1 institutes (IITs, NITs, IIITs, BITS, top global universities) Final-year or pre-final year students Engineers with exceptional hands-on ability, regardless of age

Responsibilities Design and develop: PCB (MCU/SoC, camera, power, connectivity) Embedded firmware (camera control, streaming, frame handling)

Work on: Camera sensor selection & SDK integration LED optics & illumination geometry Power management & safety

Support: Prototyping & iteration DFM/DFA for manufacturing Vendor & manufacturer coordination (India / China) Collaborate on system architecture (hardware ↔ app ↔ AI)

Required Skills Strong fundamentals in: Electronics & embedded systems PCB design Embedded C/C++ (or equivalent)

Familiarity with: Camera modules / image pipelines Bluetooth / Wi-Fi Low-power consumer electronics

Ability to learn fast and execute independently

Bonus (Not Mandatory) Experience with: Consumer hardware / wearables / IoT Medical or health devices Camera sensors (OV, Sony, etc.) Prior startup, research, or product-building experience
