QA Test Lead Experience: 8- 13 Years

About the Role

We are seeking a QA hands-on lead with strong leadership, good-to-have cybersecurity exposure, and a modern, AI-aware mindset toward quality engineering. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end QA lifecycle—defining the test strategy, establishing the test approach, managing a team of functional testers, enabling automation, and ensuring each release meets the highest standards for functionality, security, performance, and user experience. You will also promote AI-driven efficiency across QA planning, reporting, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and own the QA strategy and process maturity across product releases. - Collaborate with Development leads, the Product Manager, and CS Engineers to validate feature readiness and build an actionable QA plan for releases. - Work with CS/Sales teams to conduct demos and walkthrough sessions for UAT handover. - Manage test planning, estimation, execution tracking, and defect tracking. - Drive NFR testing, including Security, Performance, and User Experience validations. - Author, review, and approve test plans, test cases, and regression suites for completeness. - Ensure continuous test process improvement using AI-assisted tools. - Assist in integrating QA workflows with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks. - Conduct root-cause analysis of user incidents and ensure preventive QA measures are implemented. - Maintain instances for demos and simulations.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field. - ISTQB Advanced Test Manager certification (preferred). - Prior experience in Cybersecurity Product QA. - Exposure to AI-based testing tools or quality analytics frameworks. - Experience in Agile/DevSecOps environments.
