Trade Monitoring Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a focused and detail-driven Trade Monitoring Analyst with 12 years of experience in equity and derivatives trading, preferably in a Portfolio Management Services (PMS) environment. The role involves executing trades across client portfolios with precision, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate should be well-versed with NSE trading platforms, understand portfolio-based execution, and work seamlessly with operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute equity and derivatives trades for multiple PMS client accounts in line with portfolio strategies. 2. Monitor market movements and ensure timely execution with minimal impact cost. 3. Coordinate with portfolio managers to manage trade allocations, order books, and execution timing. 4. Prepare and send trade allocation files to the back-office, custodian, and fund administrator post-trade execution. 5. Maintain real-time tracking of positions and exposure across portfolios. 6. Liaise with brokers for trade confirmation and resolve any execution-related discrepancies. 7. Ensure trades are accurately recorded and reconciled with the back-office team. 8. Assist in preparing daily trade files, execution reports, and regulatory submissions.

Requirements

1. 12 years of experience in trade execution, preferably in a PMS or broking environment. 2. Good understanding of equity markets, NSE operations, and PMS trade handling. 3. Experience with trading terminals such as NEST, ODIN, or broker-specific platforms. 4. Familiarity with PMS regulatory norms, trade allocation principles, and reporting processes. 5. Strong attention to detail and ability to operate under pressure. 6. NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives) certification preferred. 7. Graduate in Finance, Commerce, or related field.
