Job Description: Oracle JDE CNC Administrator (AWS Migration Specialist)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle JD Edwards (JDE) CNC Administrator to lead and support the migration of JDE environments from on-premise Software Defined Data Centers (SDDC) to AWS cloud infrastructure.

This role requires deep expertise in JDE EnterpriseOne architecture, CNC administration, and cloud migration strategies, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and automation.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in planning, designing, and executing cloud transformation initiatives for enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities

️ JDE CNC Administration

- Install, configure, and maintain JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environments - Manage CNC components: Deployment Server, Enterprise Server, HTML Server, AIS Server, BSSV, Orchestrator - Perform package builds, deployments, and ESU installations - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability

☁️ Cloud Migration (AWS Focus)

- Lead end-to-end migration of JDE workloads from on-prem SDDC to AWS - Design AWS architecture using services like: - EC2, EBS, S3 - VPC, Load Balancers - RDS / Oracle on EC2 - Execute lift-and-shift and/or re-platforming strategies - Ensure secure, compliant, and optimized cloud environments

Environment Management & Automation

- Manage multiple environments (DEV, TEST, PROD) - Automate deployments using scripting tools (Shell, Python, Ansible, Terraform) - Implement CI/CD pipelines for JDE package deployments (nice-to-have but valuable)

Security & Compliance

- Implement security best practices across JDE and AWS environments - Manage user roles, access controls, and system hardening - Ensure compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards

Performance Optimization

- Conduct performance tuning across JDE and database layers - Optimize infrastructure cost and utilization in AWS - Implement monitoring using tools like CloudWatch, OEM, etc.

Stakeholder Collaboration

- Work closely with: - Functional teams - Infrastructure teams - Cloud architects - Client stakeholders - Provide technical guidance and documentation

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a JDE CNC Administrator - Strong expertise in: - JD Edwards EnterpriseOne architecture - CNC tools and processes - Proven experience in JDE migration projects (on-prem to cloud preferred) - Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM) - Experience with Linux/Unix and/or Windows server environments - Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Oracle Cloud (OCI) or other cloud platforms - Knowledge of JDE Orchestrator & AIS - Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation) - Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines - AWS Certification (Solutions Architect / SysOps / DevOps) is a plus - Experience working in consulting or client-facing roles

Nice-to-Have (Differentiators)

- Exposure to GenAI-driven automation for enterprise systems - Experience integrating JDE with modern platforms/APIs - Knowledge of SAP or other ERP ecosystems (for cross-platform transformation roles)
