Job Title: Functional Testing Engineer – Banking Domain

Experience: 4 – 6 Years

Location: Chennai – Olympia Tech Park (Hybrid Mode)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Functional Testing Engineer with strong exposure to the Banking domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in API testing and SQL, along with a solid understanding of banking processes and applications.

Responsibilities:

- Perform end-to-end Functional Testing for banking applications. - Design, develop, and execute test cases based on business requirements. - Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or similar. - Validate backend data using SQL queries. - Identify, log, track, and retest defects. - Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements. - Participate in requirement analysis and test planning activities. - Ensure adherence to QA processes and standards.

Key Skills:

- 4–6 years of experience in Functional Testing. - Strong experience in Banking domain (Retail/Corporate/Payments/Loans, etc.). - Hands-on experience in API Testing. - Good knowledge of SQL for database validation. - Experience in defect tracking tools (JIRA or similar). - Good understanding of SDLC & STLC.
