The flagship brand, offers elevated Indian occasionwear catering to aspirational consumers. Game Changer Retails operates in design, sourcing, merchandising, retail operations, and brand development, providing a dynamic and innovative workspace.

Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially sharp and aesthetically confident Manager for Design & Curation to build and edit cohesive collections across celebrationwear categories.

This role combines strong fashion sensibility with category planning and commercial discipline. You will work closely with the Founder to define and evolve the Leela Prive aesthetic and ensure consistency across all collections.

Key Responsibilities

1. Trend & Market Intelligence

- Track bridal + occasionwear trends - Track pricing in competitors - Visit markets (Chandni Chowk, Surat, Jaipur, etc.) - Create seasonal mood boards and direction decks

2. Vendor Curation

- Visit and evaluate vendor showrooms - Shortlist styles aligned with the Leela Prive aesthetic - Guide edits in colour, detailing, and embellishment where required - Ensure strong colour story alignment across drops - Avoid duplication across vendors and categories

The ability to instinctively distinguish “This is Utsav leela ” and “This is not ” is critical to this role.

3. Range Building

- Structure curated seasonal drops across categories - Build balanced pricing ladders - Maintain depth across silhouettes and occasion types - Ensure assortment discipline and collection coherence

4. Styling & Presentation

- Work on lookbook styling - Approve mannequins styling in store - Ensure display coherence - Work with photographer

Curation is 50% buying, 50% styling.

5. Commercial Understanding

- Understand margins - Analyse sell-through and refine future curation strategy - Maintain consistency in brand identity across collections

Ideal Candidate

- 5–10 years’ experience in premium ethnic retail, buying, or multi-designer environments - Has handled vendor selection and/or range planning - Strong understanding of Indian celebrationwear - Decisive, detail-oriented, and aesthetically strong
