ML SME | 6–8 Years | Kolkata

We are hiring for the role of Machine Learning Subject Matter Expert (ML SME) for a client engagement in Kolkata.

Role Overview

As an ML SME, you will drive the design, development, and deployment of machine learning solutions. The role requires strong technical depth, hands-on model development experience, and the ability to translate business problems into scalable ML systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement machine learning models using Python - Select appropriate algorithms and techniques based on business use cases - Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model optimization - Build, evaluate, and fine-tune ML models for performance and accuracy - Deploy and manage ML models in production environments - Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end ML solutions - Troubleshoot model performance issues and optimize pipelines

Required Skills

- Strong proficiency in Python - Hands-on experience building and deploying ML models - Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques - Experience with data preprocessing and feature engineering - Working knowledge of libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and XGBoost - Experience in deploying and managing ML models in production - Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability

Experience

- 6–8 years of relevant experience in Machine Learning / Data Science
