The Opportunity
Weโre seeking a
Business Analyst and preferably with ERP or Manufacturing experience
to join our product team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that requirements are
captured, deeply understood, hardened and documented
but are also clearly translated into both our software
and
the resources that drive customer adoption and success, the focus being
manufacturing operations and digital transformation.
You will act as the
custodian of requirements and operational visualization
.
You will collaborate closely with Domain Experts, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, and Test Engineers.
Your scope will bridge the gap between complex manufacturing needs, our AI-powered solutions, and the end-user experience through high-quality documentation and enablement.

Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Hardening:
Engage with manufacturing stakeholders (from shop floor to leadership) to capture functional, non-functional, and integration requirements.
Domain Alignment & Support:
Collaborate closely with the
Director of Customer Success and our Domain Experts
to enable real-world manufacturing and turn requirements into actionable work for the Product Team.
Operational Mapping:
Map existing manufacturing workflows (e.g., production, scheduling, quality assurance, inventory control) into detailed epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Visualizing Operations:
Create and maintain visual models (process flows, use-case diagrams, wireframes) specifically reflecting and simplifying complex manufacturing operations for both the product team and end-users.
Documentation & Traceability:
Own the end-to-end documentation of requirements (Jira, Confluence, Aha), maintaining traceability from requirement โ process design โ development โ testing.
Training & Customer Enablement
Training Content Development
: Create and continuously refine comprehensive customer training content and support materials (manuals, e-learning modules, video walkthroughs, in-app help articles) focused on shop-floor adoption and maximizing product value.
Internal Enablement
: Support the Product Team Lead by designing training programs for internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Engineering) to elevate the companyโs domain knowledge.
Support & QA Liaison
: Support QA in defining realistic test scenarios that simulate real-world manufacturing use cases. Provide ongoing clarity to developers and test engineers, ensuring manufacturing domain specifics are never lost in translation.
Change Management
Act as the gatekeeper for all functional/non-functional requirement changes.
Identify and capture the gaps between existing organizational workflows and the workflows within the software.
Capture, document and evaluate change requests, assess operational impacts (downtime, workflow adjustments, data integration), and maintain updated documentation with version control to prevent scope creep.
Experience and Skills Required
6โ10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software product development.
Proven expertise in requirements development, documentation, and change management in a
manufacturing, Industrial or ERP context
.
Familiarity with manufacturing systems (ERP, MES, or similar).
Hands-on experience with requirement and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Aha).
Demonstrated ability to create high-quality training and help documentation for a technical software product.
Strong ability to model workflows, processes, and integrations.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills โ able to converse comfortably with plant operators, business leaders, and engineers alike.
Interview Process
