Job Description
The
Business Finance
role is responsible for driving financial planning, valuation, and strategic finance initiatives across projects and corporate functions. The position supports budgeting, acquisitions, M&A activities, SPV monitoring, financial structuring, and business modelling to enable informed decision-making. It works closely with leadership and project bidding teams to evaluate investment opportunities, optimize capital structures, and ensure financial discipline through robust analytics.
Key responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
· Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
· Monitor actuals vs budget and provide variance analysis with actionable insights
· Support leadership in strategic decision-making through financial dashboards and reports
Valuation, M&A & Acquisitions Support:
· Conduct business and project valuations using DCF, IRR, and comparable methods
· Support M&A activities including financial modeling, synergy analysis, and investment proposals
· Assist in acquisition assessments and feasibility studies.
SPV Monitoring & Financial Governance:
· Track financial performance of SPVs and project entities
· Monitor cash flows, debt servicing, and profitability metrics
· Ensure compliance with financial covenants and reporting standards
Due Diligence & Structuring:
· Lead financial due diligence for acquisitions, partnerships, and investments.
· Support debt structuring, instrument evaluation, and capital optimization.
· Assist in company and project structuring from a financial efficiency standpoint.
Business Modelling & Financial Analytics:
· Develop dynamic business models for new projects and bids
· Analyze sensitivity, scenario planning, and investment risks
· Provide strategic insights for growth initiatives
Project Bidding & Strategic Finance Support:
· Partner with project bidding teams to evaluate financial feasibility
· Prepare bid models, cost structures, and funding strategies
· Support commercial negotiations with financial inputs
Education Requirements:
Chartered Accountant (Not Mandatory)/ MBA Finance / CFA / Equivalent professional qualification.
Years of experience:
8-12 Years
Work Experience Requirements:
Proven experience in Business Finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Investment Analysis. Strong exposure to project finance, valuations, and strategic financial planning. Hands-on experience with SAP HANA Public Cloud or similar ERP systems
