About the Department
Financial Process Services (FPS) is a vertical of TresVista that works with major clients in the spectrum of the financial services industry. FPS caters to their needs related to accounting & financial data extraction and spreading and enables holistic view based on summarized data & information which is consumed at various levels and by finance professionals. Exposure to processes related to core finance and accounting clubbed with innovative techniques and software adds value to the professional growth of aspirants looking for a career in the industry of finance
The Role & Responsibilities
▪ Process Optimization: Analyzing current workflows and identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, NVAs, and areas for improvement using data-driven approaches. Building actionable insights, provide solutions and implement
▪ Project Leadership: Leading cross-functional improvement projects from ideation to implementation, ensuring measurable outcomes and stakeholder alignment. Driving six sigma green belt and black project
▪ Data Analysis & Reporting: Using tools like Power BI, Excel, and statistical software to monitor KPIs, track progress, and report on improvement initiatives
▪ Drive business outcome indicators (BOIs): Brainstorming with delivery team, develop themes to drive client business outcome indicators by creating a business case. Engage with client interactions as necessary
▪ Training & Mentoring: Educating and mentoring teams on Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies thereby inculcating a culture of First Time Right, waste elimination, self RCA, and leveraging best practices. Lead ideation drives on the floor, establish themes and drive improvement initiatives
▪ Root Cause Analysis: Conducting RCA using tools like Fishbone Diagrams, 5 Whys, and FMEA to address recurring issues and prevent future occurrences
▪ Standardization: Developing and implementing SOPs and best practices to ensure consistency and accuracy across operations
▪ Change Management: Collaborating with stakeholders to manage change effectively, ensuring buy-in and smooth adoption of new processes
▪ Benchmarking & Innovation: Staying updated with industry’s best practices and bringing innovative ideas to improve quality, speed, and cost-effectiveness
▪ Drive Automation, AI, Gen AI, Agentic AI initiatives, projects: Collaborating with in-house technology function, building comprehensive test cases, perform UAT, build macros, VBA as part of continuous improvement drive. Driving through structured and strategic approach -Project plan, Gantt chart, RAID log, RACI, etc.
Experience:
▪ Minimum of 7-8 years in a Continuous Improvement (CI) role with overall 10-12 years of overall experience
▪ Hands on with six sigma tools (DMAIC, VSM, FMEA etc.), CI framework (Lean, Kaizen) and data analysis using Minitab
▪ Led strategic initiatives in automation, Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions to deliver scalable, intelligent systems
▪ Hands on exposure in platform implementation, overseeing end-to-end project management activities including planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination
▪ Strong communication and influential skills; should have collaborated with large clients/ partners on various CI opportunities
▪ Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
Education/Certifications
▪ Bachelors/ Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting or Business
▪ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt having successfully championed multiple projects with significant dollar saves
▪ Kaizen or TPM Certification
▪ Project Management (PMP or Prince2)
Compensation
▪ The compensation structure will be as per industry standards
