It offers strategic consulting, digital architecture, and sector-specific solutions across areas like transport, water, justice, and finance. The team enables large-scale e-Governance, data analytics, and automation to improve efficiency and citizen experience.
>>About the Role:
The Financial & Legal consultant will be responsible for driving financial accuracy, legal compliance, contract management, and regulatory alignment to support project operations. The role involves ensuring proper reconciliation, advising on legal aspects, managing procurement, and coordinating with stakeholders across departments.
>>Key Responsibilities:
1. Reconciliation
Perform periodic account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
Reconcile payment gateway transactions.
Verify and match EMD and tender fee records.
Reconcile and track refunds.
2. Legal Review & Regulatory Advisory
Review relevant laws, regulations, and contractual documents.
Identify potential legal and regulatory risks.
Provide recommendations to ensure legal alignment.
Draft MoUs, contracts, agreements, and RFP documents.
3. Contract & Procurement Support
Prepare and review procurement-related documents.
Draft and support negotiation of contracts.
Ensure compliance with procurement norms and guidelines.
Assist in evaluation and selection of vendors.
4. Regulatory Compliance & Governance
Ensure adherence to financial, tax, and corporate compliance requirements.
Advise on governance structures and best practices.
Monitor internal and external audit processes.
5. Finance & Budget Management
Assist in budget preparation and fund allocation.
Track expenditure and financial performance.
Develop financial guidelines and standard processes.
6. Legal Risk Assessment & Mitigation
Identify legal risks across operational areas.
Recommend mitigation strategies.
Support dispute resolution processes when required.
7. Documentation & Reporting
Prepare financial, legal, and compliance reports.
Develop formats, templates, and documentation standards.
Deliver monthly, quarterly, and final reports as per project needs.
8. Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate with departments such as legal, finance, procurement, and project teams.
Facilitate communication among internal and external stakeholders.
9. Capacity Building
Conduct training and workshops on financial and legal processes.
Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials .
10. Other Responsibilities
Support additional accounting and financial management tasks as assigned.
Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives .
>>Education:
Any relevant Graduation / MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA / CS / ICWA
>>Experience
Minimum 5+ years in Finance, Tax Regulations, and Planning
Prior IT sector experience preferred
Government project experience preferred
>>Preferred Skills:
Strong understanding of
financial regulations ,
taxation , and
corporate compliance .
Experience working on
government projects , including tendering and public procurement processes.
Prior involvement in
IT or tech‑driven environments .
Hands-on experience in
contract drafting , vendor management, and legal documentation.
Proficiency in
data analysis , financial tools, and reconciliation processes.
Knowledge of
payment gateways , financial systems, MIS tools, and ERP platforms.
Exposure to
audit procedures , statutory compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

Financial analysis, budgeting, and fund management
Contract drafting, legal interpretation, and regulatory documentation
Procurement rules (GFR, e‑procurement, tendering norms)
Taxation and compliance (Direct/Indirect taxes, GST, TDS etc.)
Reconciliation of accounts, payment gateways, EMD/tender fees
Risk assessment and mitigation planning
Strong documentation, report writing, and SOP development
