Role Summary
We are looking for a
confident, articulate IT Operations professional
who can act as an
Incident Commander
, take ownership of issues, and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders. This role requires strong
incident management, coordination, and communication skills
, not just technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage
production incidents end-to-end
(triage, coordination, resolution, closure)
Act as the
primary point of contact
during incidents
Coordinate with L1/L2/L3 teams, developers, QA, DevOps, and IT
Provide
clear, concise status updates
to managers and executive stakeholders
Manage
Jira tickets , escalations, and SLAs
Handle
IT admin tasks
, including:
Developer/QA onboarding & offboarding
Tool and access management (Jira, email, internal systems)
Support post-incident reviews and follow-up actions
Must-Have Skills
4+ years in
IT Operations / Incident Management / System Administration
Proven experience as an
incident owner or incident commander
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong experience with
Jira or similar ticketing systems
Comfortable speaking with
senior stakeholders and leadership
Ability to take ownership and
drive issues to resolution
Not a Fit If
You are uncomfortable leading calls or speaking with executives
You prefer passive ticket handling without ownership
