We are hiring for the role of
"SAP Project Manager" with a SaaS startup based in Hyderabad.
About the role:
The
Project Manager (PM)
will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of digital transformation programs built on
Connected Worker Platform . This role manages end-to-end implementation of solutions like
mWorkOrder, mRounds, and Value 360
for global clients in
asset-intensive industries
such as Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Manufacturing, and Utilities.
The Project Manager drives
scope, schedule, cost, quality, and value realization , partnering closely with customers, internal delivery teams, and cross-functional leaders to ensure measurable outcomes in safety, reliability, and productivity.
Roles and responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Delivery Management:
Lead project initiation, planning, execution, and closure across multiple enterprise SaaS implementation projects.
Develop detailed project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), and delivery schedules aligned to Company’s Value 360 methodology (Discover → Design → Deploy → Govern).
Track milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and resources through a structured change control process.
Facilitate agile sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups for delivery team
2. Customer & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for client program leads, IT teams, and business stakeholders.
Build strong executive relationships and manage expectations through proactive communication and transparency.
Conduct regular SteerCo and governance meetings, presenting progress, risks, and value metrics.
Drive customer satisfaction and adoption, ensuring that project outcomes align with business value drivers (e.g., backlog reduction, wrench time, downtime, reliability improvements).
3. Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead cross-functional delivery teams including Solution Architects, Functional Consultants, Technical Engineers, and Value Coaches.
Coordinate between onshore and offshore resources to ensure seamless delivery.
Provide direction, remove roadblocks, and maintain delivery velocity across all workstreams.
Mentor junior project leads on delivery excellence, communication, and governance best practices.
4. Financial & Contract Management
Manage project budgets, forecasts, and billing milestones to ensure revenue recognition compliance.
Track and report Professional Services utilization, profitability, and margin performance.
Collaborate with the PMO and Finance teams on forecasting, invoicing, and SOW adherence.
Identify opportunities for upsell and expansion in collaboration with Account Managers and Solution Architects.
5. Risk, Quality, and Value Governance
Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks proactively.
Ensure adherence to Company’s delivery standards, templates, and Value 360 playbook.
Oversee testing, UAT, and go-live readiness activities to ensure a smooth transition to support.
Track business impact metrics post-deployment (e.g., reliability KPIs, safety metrics, schedule compliance).
What You Bring to the Team:
Technical & Functional
Experience in project management of SaaS, ERP, or EAM implementations (preferably in Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, or Utilities).
Strong understanding of EAM and maintenance processes (Work Management, Planning & Scheduling, Reliability, Inspections).
Experience managing projects integrated with systems like SAP PM, IBM Maximo.
Familiarity with cloud delivery models, mobile solutions, and integration frameworks (REST APIs, middleware).
Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or Asana.
Project & Delivery Management
Proven success in managing multi-million-dollar, multi-phase SaaS or digital transformation programs.
Deep understanding of agile and hybrid delivery models.
Strong command of project financials — budget management, revenue forecasting, and profitability tracking.
Experience in Value-based delivery — driving measurable improvements in KPIs like MTTR, backlog, and schedule compliance.
Leadership & Communication
