Engineering Manager

Role Overview This is a leadership role responsible for managing engineering teams, driving end-toend product delivery, and ensuring predictable execution of software initiatives. The Engineering Manager will oversee project planning, risk management, team performance, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable, high-quality technology solutions. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage a team of software engineers, ensuring high performance and accountability • Own end-to-end delivery of software products and platform initiatives • Plan project timelines, define milestones, and track progress against goals • Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate delivery risks • Drive sprint planning, execution tracking, and release management • Ensure alignment between engineering, product, and business stakeholders • Monitor engineering metrics, productivity, and quality standards • Oversee system architecture discussions to ensure scalability and reliability • Support DevOps, CI/CD practices, and cloud-native deployments • Mentor team members and support career development and performance management Required Experience & Skills • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience • Proven experience managing technical teams and driving delivery outcomes • Strong experience in end-to-end software product lifecycle management • Demonstrated ability to track project progress and manage delivery risks • Solid understanding of backend systems (Python, FastAPI preferred) • Experience with system design, scalable architectures, and distributed systems • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and CI/CD practices • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills • Data-driven approach to delivery tracking and performance measurement Work Culture & Expectations • Ownership-driven leadership with accountability for delivery outcomes • Balance of people management and technical oversight • Strong focus on execution predictability and risk management • Collaborative approach across product, data, and leadership teams • AI-first mindset with emphasis on scalable production systems • Structured thinking, clarity in communication, and proactive decision-making
