Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Head – Finance to lead the financial operations of the group.

This is not a routine accounting role.

It is a leadership position focused on financial control, cash discipline, reporting excellence, and business partnering.

The role involves overseeing financial operations, preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing budgets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and building financial systems that support scale and efficiency. You will work closely with leadership to craft financial strategies and enable informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Reporting

- Lead end-to-end financial operations across group companies and trusts - Drive monthly financial closure, P&L consolidation, and inter-company eliminations - Own MIS reporting and KPI tracking - Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable processes

Cash Flow & Working Capital

- Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning - Optimize working capital and capital allocation - Strengthen banking relationships

Financial Governance & Controls

- Implement strong internal financial controls - Identify and plug revenue leakages - Drive cost optimization initiatives - Lead automation and process improvements within finance

Tax & Statutory Oversight

- Oversee GST returns, reconciliations, and annual filings - Manage Income Tax filings, advance tax, and TDS - Coordinate statutory and tax audits across entities

Strategic Finance

- Partner with the CEO and business heads for financial planning and scenario modelling - Build dashboards and ROI frameworks for growth initiatives - Represent Finance in board discussions - Manage relationships with auditors and financial institutions

Who We’re Looking For

- CA with 8–10 years of experience - Experience managing multi-entity finance operations - Strong understanding of GST, Income Tax, and audit processes - Proficiency in TallyPrime and Advanced Excel - Experience in group consolidations - Exposure to revenue controls and cost optimization - Strong analytical and commercial mindset - Comfortable operating at leadership level and influencing cross-functional teams
