Site Technician Logistics and Operations

This position is working on site in HeadSpin's Bangalore Data Centre, reporting to Senior Manager Global Operations. Responsible for overseeing the operational and logistical tasks of HeadSpin internal teams.

What you’ll do

Manage smartHands requests on a local level. Troubleshooting daily issues within Headspin Tier 0. Bridge communication of off shore and other team members world wide(Asia/ North America) Oversee and structure internal requests at an operational level. Upkeep on problematic internal device issues. Work with Manufacturing to deploy hardware equipment. Responsible for local SIMcard management Device replacement/ Device deployment in selected global locations. Manage Import/Export shipments from global vendors. Manage ISP team coordination. Work with InfraOperations for Server/ Router Configurations Upkeep of Headspin Bangalore DC. Ensure follow up on active tickets/ deployments on a daily level with multiple different team members. Work with equipment hardware for replacement and upkeep.

Necessarily skills Ability to communicate effectively with expert technical representatives as well as management. Strong Network knowledge in Tunnelling and VLAN configuration & troubleshooting NAT configuration Leadership abilities at both the strategic and tactical level. Good understanding of the methodologies used by HeadSpin, their customers and equipment. Extensive experience with Headspins Infrastructure and goals for improvements. Able to address internal and customer issues, tickets in a timely manner. Flexibility for customer site visits local and international.

Required Experience 2+ years Operations experience. Strong understanding of network infrastructure and how it relates to day to day operations. Knowledge of distributed systems upgrade processes (on-prem + cloud). Knowledge project management, time management and work delegation. CCNA Certificate is a bonus.

Required Education BE/BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
