Key Responsibilities: Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript Implement Shopify Online Store 2.0 features (sections everywhere, JSON templates) Build and maintain custom product pages, collection pages, and landing pages Ensure clean, modular, and reusable code architecture Optimize site speed (Core Web Vitals: LCP, CLS, INP) Reduce render-blocking scripts and optimize assets Ensure mobile-first and cross-browser compatibility Follow Shopify’s theme performance and security guidelines Implement UX best practices for: Product discovery Add-to-Cart & Checkout flow Upsells, cross-sells, bundles A/B testing support using Shopify-compatible tools Improve checkout experience (Shopify Checkout Extensibility preferred) Integrations & Apps Integrate and manage: Payment gateways Shipping & logistics apps CRM & Email/SMS tools (Klaviyo, Meta, Google, etc.) Custom API integrations using Shopify Admin API & Storefront API Evaluate apps for performance impact before implementation Analytics & Tracking Implement and maintain: GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel Server-side tracking (preferred) Ensure accurate e-commerce event tracking: View Item Add to Cart Begin Checkout Purchase Debug tracking discrepancies between Shopify & ad platforms SEO & Accessibility Ensure SEO best practices: Clean URLs Schema markup Meta tags & structured data Optimize site for accessibility (WCAG compliance basics) Ensure crawlability and indexation readiness Maintenance & Collaboration Fix bugs, deploy enhancements, and manage releases Collaborate with: Performance marketing teams UI/UX designers Product & ops teams Maintain documentation for custom builds and integrations

Strong proficiency in: Shopify Liquid JavaScript (ES6+) HTML5, CSS3 Experience with: Shopify APIs Git / Version Control Shopify CLI Familiarity with: Page speed tools (Lighthouse, GTmetrix) Browser debugging tools
