Youwillplayapivotalroleinshapingtheengineeringculture,definingthetechnicalvision,andacceleratingthedeliveryofworld-classeCommerceanalyticsproducts.

Thisisnotatraditional“people-only”leadershiprole.Wearelookingforsomeonewhostillenjoyswritingcode,solvingcomplexarchitecturalproblems,andsettingthetechnicalbarfortheorganization.

Responsibilities

LeadershipandTeamManagement

Leadandmentorengineeringteamsacrossmultiplescrumteams,fosteringacultureofcollaboration,ownership,andinnovation.

Setcleargoalsandexpectationswhileempoweringengineerstodeliverwithautonomyandaccountability.

Conductregularperformancereviews,identifygrowthopportunities,andinvestincontinuouslearningandprofessionaldevelopment.

Buildstrongcross-functionalrelationshipswithProduct,Design,andArchitectureteamstoensurealignmentandsharedsuccess.

TechnicalExcellenceandDelivery

DriveandmodeltheadoptionofAI-drivensoftwaredevelopment—includingcodegeneration,intelligentrefactoring,andrapidprototyping—toacceleratedelivery,enhancecodequality,andboostproductivity.

Contributedirectlytosystemdesign,codereviews,andcriticalimplementations,settingthetechnicalbarfortheteam.

ChampionmodernengineeringbestpracticessuchasTDD,CI/CD,andinfrastructure-as-code,ensuringrobustnessandscalability.

EnsureconsistentAgileexecutionacrossteams,includingbackloggrooming,sprintplanning,andretrospectivesfocusedonmeasurableimprovement.

TechnicalStrategyandArchitecture

Partnerwithseniorleadershiptodefinethetechnicalroadmap,ensuringalignmentwithbusinessstrategyandlong-termscalability.

Evaluateandintroducenewtechnologies—includingLLMframeworksandAI-assistedtooling—thatcantransformthedevelopmentlifecycle.

Guidearchitecturaldecisionsthatenableperformance,maintainability,anddatasecurityacrosstheproductsuite.

Balanceinnovationwithpragmatism,ensuringtherighttrade-offsbetweenspeedandsustainability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’sorMaster’sdegreeinComputerScience,SoftwareEngineering,orrelatedfield.

10+yearsofprogressivesoftwareengineeringexperience,with5+yearsinaleadershiprolemanaginghigh-performingteams.

Provenexperienceasahands-onfull-stackengineerandcloud-nativeapplicationdeveloper(minimum5years).

Expert-levelproficiencyinPythonandstrongfamiliaritywithLLM-basedframeworks(e.g.,LangChain,HuggingFace,orsimilar).

DemonstratedsuccessdrivingengineeringtransformationthroughAIadoptionandautomation.

Deepunderstandingofsoftwarearchitecture,designpatterns,andmoderndevelopmentmethodologies.

Strongtrackrecordofdeliveringhigh-quality,scalablesoftwareinAgile/Scrumenvironments.

Excellentcommunication,collaboration,andstakeholdermanagementskills.

Experienceworkingwithgloballydistributedteamsisaplus.
