Job Description We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions by designing and executing effective test strategies. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in Java, Cypress, and API testing and is passionate about building defect-free software systems.

Responsibilities Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using

Java

and

Cypress

for web and API applications. Design, write, and execute test cases and scenarios for functional, regression, performance, and scalability testing. Perform API testing using tools like

Postman ,

RestAssured , or similar libraries to ensure system integration quality. Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand requirements and identify testing needs. Debug issues by analyzing application logs, error messages, and stack traces. Continuously improve automation frameworks for efficiency, coverage, and scalability. Work closely with DevOps to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Maintain test environments, ensuring consistency and reliability across the QA lifecycle. Document and communicate testing results, defect statuses, and metrics to stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience : 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on automation testing. Strong hands-on experience in

Java

for building automated test cases. Proficiency with

Cypress

for end-to-end web application testing. Hands-on experience in API testing using tools like

Postman ,

SoapUI , or Java-based libraries like

RestAssured . Technical Skills : Strong understanding of HTTP, REST, and SOAP protocols. Familiarity with database querying (SQL) to validate backend results. Knowledge of version control tools such as

Git . Experience working with CI/CD pipelines. Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills Experience with performance testing tools like

JMeter

or

Gatling . Familiarity with containerization (e.g.,

Docker ) and orchestration (e.g.,

Kubernetes ). Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Experience with BDD frameworks like

Cucumber
