Job Details:

• Client and Store Handling • Billing • Managing Stock • Complete Inventory Management • Keep up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colours and shapes. • Presenting story, mood, color boards, adapting to the client’s own interests in color, style, and shape. • Draw, design, and develop new clothing and accessory samples, and create and turn in documentation worksheets. • Understand design from a technical perspective, i.e. producing patterns and technical specifications for designs. • oversee production, Fabric Sourcing and Client Trials and Fittings • negotiate with customers and suppliers • Liaise closely with purchasing and production teams on an ongoing basis to ensure items suit the customer, market and price points • Handling Clients / Customers in Store and Social Media Enquiries. • Do the work to cost out all of the components needed for a garment's production creating Costing Sheet. • Maintaining all Expense records and Book Keeping. • Assist the design team with communicating to vendors on design, production, and other issues. • Managing design process from conception through to final styling. • Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques, and seeking design inspiration • Selecting the most appropriate pieces from collections and ranges for the shoot. Purchasing props for shoots. • Supervising photo shoots. Qualification: • To be Creative and to be able to visualise the designs in three dimension. • An eye for colour and a feel for fabrics and materials • the ability to generate ideas and concepts, use your initiative and think outside the box • design and visualisation skills, either by hand or through computer-aided design (CAD) or Any Design Software • technical skills, including pattern cutting , grading, garment construction and sewing. a proactive approach • commercial awareness and business orientation • self-promotion and confidence • interpersonal, communication and networking skills the ability to negotiate and to influence others team working skills • good organisation and time management. • Possesses strong communicating skills, especially in articulating new designs and products. • Exhibits creativity and business sense. • Can manipulate various fashion techniques, including mixing different fabrics, colors, and textures. Demonstrates basic computer and reading skills. • Possesses a keen understanding of the fashions that are acceptable and even expected for different types of events
