Middleware Engineer

Job Title: Middleware with GPP and Production support exp. Location: Remote Job Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities Provide

24x7 production support

for middleware platforms supporting

GPP payment applications Monitor and maintain middleware components to ensure

high availability and low-latency payment processing Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to

payments, messaging, and integrations Perform

incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem management Support

payment flows

such as SWIFT, ACH, RTGS, SEPA, FPS, and domestic/international clearing Coordinate with application, database, infrastructure, and network teams during production incidents Manage middleware deployments, configuration changes, and patching Support

release management, DR drills, and business continuity planning Automate monitoring, alerting, and operational tasks Maintain operational runbooks, SOPs, and compliance documentation Ensure adherence to

banking security, audit, and regulatory standards Required Skills & Experience 4+ years of experience in

Middleware administration and production support Strong experience supporting

GPP (Global Payments Platform)

applications Hands-on experience with middleware technologies such as: IBM WebSphere / WebSphere MQ Oracle WebLogic Apache Kafka TIBCO / MuleSoft Strong understanding of

payment systems and transaction life cycles Experience in

Linux/Unix environments Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Geneos, etc.) Strong knowledge of

ITIL processes

(Incident, Problem, Change Management) Ability to work in

on-call/shift-based support models
