Senior Pattern Maker

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are a high end garment focused design studio currently in the process of being built, with a strong emphasis on advanced, production ready pattern development that is structurally sound and precise in fit. The studio is focused on establishing a strong technical foundation, prioritizing pattern accuracy, construction, and garment cut, balance, and fit over surface level embellishment.

1.Position Senior Manual Pattern Maker ( NO CAD USERS)

2.Role Description The Senior Pattern Maker will be responsible for developing high end, production ready patterns and structured garments.

This role requires an advanced understanding of cut, construction, sizing, and fit, with a strong focus on pattern precision.

The candidate will work closely with the founder and design team to ensure garments are technically strong, scalable, and aligned with the studio’s quality standards.

This is an on-site role.

3.Key Responsibilities Develop manual patterns for high end garments based on design direction. Create production ready patterns with consistent fit and construction. Execute accurate sizing, including grading where required. Conduct fittings and make precise technical corrections. Ensure garments meet high end quality and fit standards before production. Collaborate directly with the designer during development. Guide tailors or junior team members when necessary. Document the entire construction process. High proficiency in corset making, jackets and tailored garments, gowns and dresses.

4.Communication Requirements Good command of spoken and written English Ability to clearly communicate technical details, corrections, and feedback. Comfortable working in a collaborative, discussion driven studio environment.

5.Contract & Work Structure Location: Lucknow, India (on-site) Contract Duration: Minimum 1 year ( can be extended ) Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible Studio location may change in the future; compensation may be adjusted according to location and cost of living.

6.Compensation Monthly Salary: 150,000 - 250,000 INR The company will coordinate all job related operational and logistical support, including accommodation assistance, onboarding, workplace setup, scheduling, basic local guidance, and day-to-day operational needs. Salary revision may be discussed based on performance and long term engagement.
