The Role We are looking for a commercially driven, highly networked, and strategically minded Commodity Trading Manager / Executive to join our expanding trading team in India.

This role focuses on bulk commodity trading, including molasses, grains, feed ingredients, and fermentation-related raw materials. You will be responsible for connecting supply and demand, leveraging your market network, and executing trades efficiently while ensuring compliance and risk management.

Your work will cover the full trading cycle, from identifying trading opportunities and negotiating contracts to coordinating logistics, documentation, and settlement, with an emphasis on building and maintaining a strong supplier and customer network across India.

Key Responsibilities * Develop and execute commodity trading strategies to grow Angel’s bulk trading business in

India markets , with a focus on

food commodities and food ingredients . * Act as the key connector between suppliers and buyers, ensuring timely matching of supply and demand. * Build, maintain, and expand relationships with suppliers, customers and distributors. * Collect, consolidate, and analyze data from regional and global commodity markets; maintain structured market intelligence databases; and provide regular reports on trading performance, market trends, and customer insights. * Negotiate and execute trade contracts, ensuring compliance with Incoterms, international trade regulations, and internal risk management policies. * Coordinate with finance, logistics, and legal teams to ensure smooth execution of trades, including shipping, documentation, and payment settlement. * Represent the company at industry exhibitions, seminars, product presentations, and networking events.

Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree or above in International Trade, Economics, Supply Chain, Agribusiness, or related fields. * Minimum 5 years of experience in commodity trading or bulk raw materials trading, preferably in molasses (for fermentation), grains, feed ingredients, or related sectors. * Established network of suppliers and customers in India. * Solid understanding of trading operations, including payment terms (L/C, DP, DA, TT), shipping documentation, customs clearance, and risk management. * Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages is a plus. * Highly self-motivated and able to work independently across multiple markets. * Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements * Position based in India * Willingness to travel regularly across India. * Valid passport and ability to travel internationally without restriction
