Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Store Manager
to oversee warehouse and inventory operations in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role requires strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, material handling procedures, and inventory control systems to ensure smooth production support and audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Warehouse Management
Manage receipt, storage, and issuance of Raw Materials (RM), Packing Materials (PM), Engineering Items, and Finished Goods.
Ensure proper material segregation: Quarantine, Approved, Rejected, Returned, and Expired materials.
Maintain FIFO / FEFO systems as per GMP norms.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Purchase & Production for replenishment.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation.
GMP & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure adherence to
WHO-GMP, Schedule M, and other applicable regulatory guidelines
.
Maintain proper documentation (GRN, Material Issue Slip, Stock Register, Bin Cards, etc.).
Ensure proper labeling and status identification of materials.
Prepare for internal and external audits (Regulatory / ISO / Customer audits).
Maintain temperature and humidity control records in warehouse areas.
ERP & Documentation
Handle ERP entries for material inward/outward and stock transfer.
Ensure timely GRN preparation and coordination with QA for material release.
Maintain batch-wise inventory traceability.
Ensure compliance with SOPs and maintain warehouse SOP records.
Team Management
Supervise store assistants and warehouse staff.
Train team members on GMP and safety practices.
Allocate daily work and monitor performance.
Ensure discipline and safety compliance within the store area.
Safety & Housekeeping
Maintain clean and organized warehouse as per GMP standards.
Ensure pest control and environmental monitoring compliance.
Follow EHS guidelines and safe material handling practices.
Ensure proper storage conditions for temperature-sensitive materials.
Required Qualifications
Graduate / Postgraduate (B.Com / B.Sc / B.Pharm preferred).
5–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical warehouse/store management.
Strong knowledge of GMP, documentation practices, and audit compliance.
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally ERP / Pharma ERP).
