Automation Engineer – Localization Tools - PC Contract: 12 months (with potential extension based on performance) Client: A leading multinational telecommunications company (name disclosed at interview)

As an

Automation Engineer – Localization Tools - PC,

you’ll ensure global readiness of PC products by enabling seamless localization workflows, technical integration, and automation.

Responsibilities Prepare, analyze, and process files for translation across PC titles. Build and maintain scripts/tools to automate localization workflows. Collaborate with linguists, PMs, and developers to integrate localized assets. Troubleshoot encoding, formatting, and file conversion issues. Validate localized builds and ensure proper implementation. Maintain documentation for tools, workflows, and processes.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s preferred. Preferred - 2–4+ years in localization engineering, or related technical role Strong knowledge of localization workflows and formats (JSON, XML, CSV). Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell). Experience with debugging, encoding, and automation issues. Familiarity with Git or version control tools. Experience in PC software or game development is a plus.
