Role Overview:
The incumbent will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high-quality, industry-aligned educational content for our online courses and programmes. The role will include curriculum development, teaching, assessment, and ensuring the overall quality of programme delivery. Faculty members will also manage a large pool of guest/adjunct faculty and teaching assistants, ensuring consistency and excellence in course execution.
Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of advanced curricula in collaboration with industry partners and senior faculty.
Teach and assess students across multiple courses, ensuring a high standard of educational delivery, focusing on delivering engaging learning experiences such as project-based learning.
Oversee and mentor guest/adjunct faculty, providing guidance on best practices for online teaching and course delivery.
Take a lead role in course management, ensuring all aspects of programme delivery meet academic and industry standards.
Contribute to the development of academic policies and procedures for online programmes.
Stay up-to-date with developments and trends in relevant industries to ensure that courses reflect the most current practices, technologies, and skills.
Engage with industry leaders, practitioners, and other experts to bring real-world perspectives into the classroom.
Contribute to the online programmes ongoing growth through thought leadership, research, and participation in academic and industry communities.
Skill and Ability Requirements
Expertise in at least one of the following domain areas:
Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, MLOps
Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience in ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
Solid understanding of MLOps principles, including CI/CD for ML models, and model monitoring.
Familiarity with MLOps and ML workflow orchestration tools.
Experience using cloud-based AI services (AWS Sagemaker, Azure ML) will be a plus.
LLMs, GenAI, Agentic AI, MLOps
Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience in ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
Experience in developing LLM, GenAI or Agentic AI applications.
Solid understanding of MLOps principles, including CI/CD for ML models, and model monitoring.
Familiarity with MLOps and ML workflow orchestration tools.
Knowledge of learning in LLMs, LLM distillation, Multiagent LLM, Multimodal LLMs, Reasoning in LLMs would be an added advantage.
Cloud computing, DevOps
Experience using Docker and Kubernetes.
Application deployment on the cloud and cloud deployment models.
Experience in containerization and microservices (using YAML manifests for deployment and service objects).
Scripting and automating cloud API interactions would be an added advantage.
SW Application Development, Cloud Native Application Development, DevOps
Strong programming skills in Python, full-stack application development, microservices DevOps tools, and pipeline.

Required Qualifications
Technical expertise in at least one of the following areas: data science, machine learning, GenAI, NLP, deep learning, AI lifecycle, MLOPs, AI governance, cyber security, cloud computing, DevOps, intelligent user interfaces, software application development.
Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science/Data Science/allied fields from a reputed institution.
Comfortable with the use of online tools and/or learning platforms.
Experience
Minimum 12 years of work experience for candidates with Master’s degree or 6 years of work experience for candidates with PhD. The work experience must preferably constitute both working with the IT industry and with academia/Edtech companies.
Strong background in designing and developing courses, with a focus on aligning content to industry needs and ensuring high-quality, engaging learning experiences would be an added benefit.
Experience in managing and mentoring other faculty members, particularly in a collaborative, remote, or hybrid environment.
Experience with academic leadership and programme development.
Active engagement with professional associations or networks in the relevant field.
Previous experience in a programme management or faculty coordination role.
