About the Role:
Oblytech is seeking
ServiceNow Technical Consultants
with advanced expertise in
ITOM/CMDB/Discovery, ITAM , and integrations. You will play a critical role in supporting a
large US-based customer
through a 24x5 support. This role involves support, development, testing, defect resolution, and optimizations, requiring in-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and its capabilities.
This is a dynamic opportunity to collaborate in a
global support model , ensuring seamless operations and high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide
support coverage
through addressing incidents, service requests, and system issues.
Manage and maintain modules across
ITOM/CMDB/Discovery
, and ITAM , including configuration, customization, and updates.
Collaborate with customer teams to handle development, testing, defect resolution, and ongoing improvements.
Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using
ServiceNow Studio
and scoped applications.
Create and maintain
Service Catalogs, Workflows, and Orchestration
for enhanced automation.
Monitor and optimize system performance, including
Discovery, CMDB , and event management processes.
Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems using
REST, SOAP APIs , and
Integration Hub .
Manage
Access Control Rules (ACLs) , system security configurations, and platform governance.
Perform upgrades and implement new features as required by the customerโs roadmap.
Document resolutions, processes, and configurations to maintain knowledge continuity.
Work collaboratively with India and Australian teams to ensure seamless handoffs and continuous support.
Required Skills and Experience:
Experience:
5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow platform experience with in-depth knowledge of:
ITSM : Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Catalog, and Request Management.
ITOM : CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, and Cloud Management.
ITAM : Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and Contract Management.
Integrations using
REST, SOAP APIs , and
Integration Hub .
Scripting:
JavaScript, Glide APIs, Jelly, and Business Rules .
UI customization:
Service Portal, Widgets, and Dashboards .
Reporting and analytics: Performance Analytics and Metrics Configuration.
Development Skills: Proven experience in building custom applications and workflows using ServiceNow Studio.
Support Skills: Level 2/Level 3 support experience for enterprise ServiceNow implementations.
Shift Readiness: Flexibility to work in rotational shifts covering global time zones.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teams across India, Australia, and the US.
Certifications:
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or higher certifications (e.g., CAD, CIS).
ITOM/ITAM-specific certifications
(e.g.,CIS-Discovery, CIS-HAM, CIS-ITSM.) are highly preferred.
