Audit Manager

We’re Hiring: Audit Manager | CA Firm (Team of 40+) | Manager Level

We are seeking a Chartered Accountant (3–6 Years PQE) to lead statutory, tax, and internal audit engagements across multiple sectors.

Location: Pune

Salary: ₹10–14 LPA (based on experience & fit)

Team: 4–8 direct reports

Reporting To: Partner

Role summary

Lead and manage audits, ensure audit quality, maintain compliance with ICAI standards (SA & Standards On Quality Controls), mentor team members, support practice growth, and maintain strong client relationships.

Core responsibilities

- Engagement management: Plan, budget, and execute statutory, tax & internal audits; ensure timely delivery of reports - Technical review & compliance: Review working papers and complex accounting (Ind AS/AS); ensure compliance with SA &

standards on quality controls 1; perform risk assessments and test internal controls; prepare for peer reviews - Team leadership: Supervise, coach, and appraise seniors & associates; conduct technical trainings and career development planning - Client relationship & commercial contribution: Act as primary client contact; manage expectations; identify cross-sell opportunities; contribute to proposals, billing, and collections; adopt audit tools and data analytics for efficiency

Qualifications and experience

- CA (mandatory); DISA / IFRS / CIA – a plus - 3–6 years PQE in a CA firm - Experience in statutory & tax audits (corporate & SME clients) - Strong knowledge of Ind AS/AS, SA, tax audit provisions &

standards on quality controls - Familiarity with audit software & basic data analytics - Excellent communication, leadership & client-handling skills - Analytical, commercial awareness & high ethical standards

Performance indicators

- Audits completed on time & within budget - Audit quality & peer review outcomes - Client satisfaction & retention - Team utilization, training & attrition metrics - Billing realization & new client wins
