Organization Description

DESIRE Society is a registered voluntary non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of children affected by the HIV/AIDS pandemic in India since 2005. The organization provides shelter, food, medical care, education, and psycho-social support to help these children realize their full potential while reaching up to 1200 such children. DESIRE Society is a PAN India NGO which strives to combat the stigma and discrimination surrounding HIV/AIDS and works towards reducing mortality rates among people living with HIV/AIDS. The organization has its international chapter at Georgia sate in the USA since 2010.

Job Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an HR Manager located in Bengaluru. The HR Manager will oversee recruitment, employee relations, and policy enforcement within the organization for the projects located across India. Responsibilities include developing HR strategies, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, handling performance management, organizing staff training and development programs, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The HR Manager will also collaborate closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications Proven skills in recruitment, talent acquisition, and workforce planning Experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and promoting an inclusive workplace Knowledge of performance Must have educational qualifications of MBA (HRM) from any reputed university 3-5 years of work experience is required. Experience from NGO sector is highly preferred.
