AWS Cloud Operations Specialist

AWS Cloud Operations Specialist 12-Month Contract Remote (you must reside in India) I am looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Operations Specialist to join a global manufacturing organisation, to support the ongoing operation, optimisation, and reliability of AWS cloud environments within a large-scale enterprise platform. You will be working closely with global engineering and architecture teams to ensure AWS environments remain secure, efficient, and aligned with best practice.

The Role: As part of the cloud operations team, you will help manage and optimise AWS infrastructure supporting critical applications and services. You will play a key role in maintaining operational stability, improving cloud performance, and ensuring solutions align with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

Key Responsibilities: Support the operation and management of AWS cloud environments Manage and optimise services including AWS ECS, AWS Lambda, and AWS Single Sign-On (SSO) Ensure environments align with the AWS Well-Architected Framework Monitor and improve cloud performance, reliability, and scalability Identify and implement cost and performance optimisation opportunities Troubleshoot incidents and support production cloud environments Work collaboratively with global engineering and architecture teams Contribute to operational improvements and cloud best practices

Skills & Experience Required: Strong experience working with AWS cloud platforms Hands-on experience with: AWS ECS (Elastic Container Service) AWS Lambda AWS Single Sign-On (SSO) Experience operating and supporting production AWS environments Understanding of AWS Well-Architected Framework Experience with cloud optimisation, performance tuning, and reliability engineering Ability to work effectively in a distributed global team

Desirable: AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect Associate/Professional) Experience working in enterprise-scale cloud environments Knowledge of cloud monitoring and observability tools Experience with cost optimisation within AWS
