Role Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented

Project Cost Management Engineer

to manage and control project costs across the project lifecycle. The role focuses on budgeting, cost tracking, variance analysis, and supporting project profitability through effective cost control measures.

Key Responsibilities Tendering Creating BOM & Understanding the Scope of Work in tender based on which through cost estimation has to be created. Daily Co-ordination with the Area Manager of various different sites where currently projects are on-going. Prior Oil & Gas experience in Tendering & Cost estimation in projects that are for O&M, GGS, OCS, Tank Farms, Gas Processing Unit or similar nature of work. Track

actual project costs vs budget

and identify variances Review

BOQs, MTOs, purchase orders, and subcontractor bills Support

project cash flow planning and billing milestones Monitor

change orders, variations, and claims

from a cost perspective Prepare

cost reports, MIS, and dashboards

for management review Assist in

project close-out , final cost reconciliation, and profitability analysis Ensure adherence to

company cost control procedures and policies

Key Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of

project costing, budgeting, and cost control techniques Ability to interpret

technical drawings, BOQs, and contracts Experience working with

ERP / project management systems Advanced proficiency in

MS Excel and cost analysis tools Strong analytical, reporting, and coordination skills Attention to detail with a structured approach to problem-solving

Preferred Candidate Profile Engineering graduate with

10+ years of experience

in project cost management Experience in

EPC, infrastructure, engineering, O&M (Oil and Gas) or industrial projects Exposure to

procurement cost analysis and subcontractor billing Familiarity with

contractual terms, variations, and claims Based in Mumbai or willing to relocate
