Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled AUTOSAR Developer with strong hands-on experience in AUTOSAR Classic Platform, focusing on Application Software Component (SWC) development and Basic Software (BSW) integration.
The ideal candidate should have practical experience in RTE configuration, Mode & Communication Management stack integration, Memory stack configuration, and ECU-level debugging in production automotive programs. Strong exposure to Vector DaVinci toolchain and CAN-based debugging is required.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and integrate AUTOSAR Application Software Components (SWCs).
Configure, generate, and validate the RTE (Run-Time Environment).
Work extensively with:
DaVinci Configurator Classic
DaVinci Developer Classic
Configure and integrate Mode & Communication Management stack.
Configure and integrate Memory stack (NvM, Fee, Fls).
Support integration and configuration of key BSW modules including:
Dcm
Dem
PduR
Com
CanIf
OS
Ensure ARXML consistency and resolve RTE generation and integration conflicts.
Handle ECU startup/shutdown sequencing and communication state transitions.
Support variant handling and post-build configuration.
Perform ECU integration and on-target debugging.
Debug communication and system issues using CAN tools (CANoe / CANalyzer).
Support calibration and measurement activities using XCP protocol (good to have).
Collaborate with system, hardware, and validation teams across development milestones.
Follow AUTOSAR methodology aligned with ASPICE processes.
Technical Requirements
Mandatory Skills
3–7 years of hands-on experience in AUTOSAR Classic Platform development.
Strong experience in:
AUTOSAR Application (SWC) development
RTE configuration and integration
Hands-on expertise with:
DaVinci Configurator Classic
DaVinci Developer Classic
Strong working knowledge of:
Mode & Communication Management stack (EcuM, BswM, ComM, CanSM, Nm)
Memory stack (NvM, Fee, Fls)
Diagnostic and communication BSW modules (Dcm, Dem, PduR, Com, CanIf)
Good understanding of:
Embedded C
AUTOSAR layered architecture
ECU startup behavior and communication state transitions
MCAL concepts and interaction with upper BSW layers
Experience in debugging using CAN tools (CANoe / CANalyzer).
Understanding of Memory Mapping (MemMap) and section placement.
Basic knowledge of linker configuration and memory layout concepts.
Exposure to OS configuration in AUTOSAR environments.
Good to Have
Bootloader interaction and application-to-bootloader handover understanding.
Experience with XCP protocol for calibration and measurement.
Knowledge of post-build configuration and variant handling strategies.
Exposure to safety-compliant automotive development environments.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field.
