ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Product Manager who is passionate about conceptualising and nurturing new ideas, and developing them into scalable fintech solutions. You will drive multi-skilled teams through rapid prototyping and take products from ideation to commercial launch — with a specific focus on Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of technology, regulation, and business — collaborating with regulators, banks, Fintechs and internal engineering, sales, and compliance teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Product Ownership & Strategy
• Own the complete lifecycle of CBDC products — ideation, design, development, testing, go-live, enhancements, and growth
• Build and maintain the product roadmap with short, medium, and long-term objectives
• Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
• Manage product profitability by maximising revenue from existing offerings
Execution & Delivery : -
• Collaborate with System Architects and Engineers to deliver APIs, technical flows, and system integrations (success and failure scenarios)
• Gather and document requirements — ideation docs, flow diagrams, roadmaps, API specs, BRS, and test cases
• Lead brainstorming and sprint planning sessions across cross-functional teams
• Identify and lead platform and app initiatives to improve system robustness and user experience
• Manage scoping and development of product enhancements
Stakeholder & Market Engagement : -
• Interface with external stakeholders — RBI, Banks, NPCI, FinTechs, and technology vendors
• Interact with key customers to identify product gaps and generate growth ideas
• Conduct competitive analysis and R&D for new use cases
• Spot market opportunities alongside the sales team to target banks and financial institutions
Go-to-Market & Sales Support : -
• Build and drive GTM activities in close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Management
• Lead pre-sales function for CBDC product line
• Consult and support Strategic Accounts on scoping and delivery for custom requirements
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Mandatory : -
• Prior experience as a Product Manager or Business Analyst in Indian Banking & Payment systems
• Hands-on experience with Payment Switches — UPI, IMPS, and / or CBDC
• 4+ years in at least one of: UPI, IMPS, CBDC domains
Skills : -
• Solid understanding of the digital payments market and regulatory environment in India
• Experience working with cross-functional teams — Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Design
• Good grasp of Product Design, Metrics, Engineering, and Customer Support workflows
• Strong aptitude, logical reasoning, and critical thinking
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency with Markdown / UML and user journey documentation
• Willingness to experiment, iterate, and improve continuously
Nice to Have : -
• Familiarity with CBDC-specific pilots (retail and wholesale use cases)
• Experience evaluating promotional plans and go-to-market consistency

QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA, BE / B.Tech from a Tier 1 College
• Other degrees considered for candidates with strong, relevant payments domain experience
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in one or more of: UPI, IMPS, CBDC
