Job Description
We are looking for a
Business Development Executive (Cybersecurity)
to join our growing team. In this role, you will help identify organizations that can benefit from cybersecurity services and support them in understanding how our solutions can strengthen their security posture.
You will work closely with security consultants and leadership to engage with potential clients, understand their requirements, and guide them through the process of evaluating cybersecurity solutions such as penetration testing, security assessments, and awareness programs.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Identification
Research organizations across industries such as IT, BFSI, e-commerce, healthcare, and manufacturing
Identify companies that may benefit from cybersecurity assessments and services
Initiate professional outreach through email, networking, and online platforms
Schedule introductory meetings and maintain follow-ups with potential clients
Maintain and track opportunities in the CRM system
Client Engagement
Understand client environments, compliance requirements, and security concerns
Conduct introductory discussions and coordinate capability presentations with technical teams
Build relationships with IT leaders, security teams, and decision makers
Maintain ongoing communication with prospects and existing clients
Solution Consultation
Introduce cybersecurity services including:
Penetration Testing
Vulnerability Assessments
Red Team Exercises
Security Awareness Training
Cloud & Application Security Assessments
Work with internal security teams to prepare proposals and solution recommendations
Collaboration & Reporting
Coordinate with internal security consultants to scope assessments
Maintain accurate CRM updates for meetings, follow-ups, and opportunities
Share feedback on industry trends and customer requirements
Provide periodic updates on business development activities
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or a related field
2–3 years of experience in
IT services, SaaS, or cybersecurity business development
Experience working with B2B clients is preferred
Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
Familiarity with CRM tools (Zoho preferred)
Experience with professional outreach platforms such as LinkedIn and email
Skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to build professional relationships with clients
Organised and proactive approach to opportunity management
Self-motivated and goal oriented
