Role Overview We are looking for an experienced

Senior Manager – Government Sales

with strong expertise in the

GeM (Government e-Marketplace) portal

and government procurement processes. The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue from government accounts, managing tender participation, and building relationships with government departments, PSUs, and institutional buyers.

Key Responsibilities • Drive business growth through

Government e-Marketplace (GeM)

and other government procurement platforms. • Identify and evaluate

relevant tenders, bids, and opportunities

on GeM and other government portals. • Manage the

complete tender lifecycle

including bid preparation, submission, documentation, and follow-ups. • Participate in

reverse auctions and price negotiations

on the GeM portal. • Build and maintain relationships with

government departments, public sector undertakings (PSUs), and institutional buyers . • Coordinate with internal teams for

pricing, product specifications, compliance, and documentation . • Track tender pipelines, order execution, and revenue from government accounts. • Ensure compliance with

government procurement policies and contractual obligations . • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming government projects.

Required Experience •

6–12 years of experience

in Government Sales / Institutional Sales. •

Hands-on experience with GeM Portal (Government e-Marketplace) . • Strong experience in

tender management and government bidding process . • Experience managing

large institutional or government accounts . • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
