MEP Engineer (Buildings)

Studio Chintala is looking for a high-ownership MEP engineer who can take a project from concept to execution with confidence. This role is for someone who does not wait to be told what to do, understands architectural intent, and can independently design, coordinate, and deliver MEP systems across multiple project types.

Location: Bengaluru

What You'll Do

- Independently design and develop HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Electrical & ELV systems - Own MEP scope from early design → DD → IFC → construction support - Coordinate directly with architects, structural engineers, and consultants - Review drawings, specs, calculations, and BOQs - Identify clashes early and propose constructible, cost-effective solutions - Support India projects with global design standards and best practices - Handle multiple projects without micromanagement

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Plumbing systems and Electrical Engineering - Experience working on Building Services and MEP systems for construction projects - Load calculations, sizing, schematics, risers - Basic cost and constructability awareness - Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues effectively - Excellent communication, teamwork skills, and the ability to collaborate with architects and contractors - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline - Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulatory compliance requirements - Experience in design software - AutoCAD (mandatory), Revit MEP (preferred), or similar tools is an advantage
