Machine Learning Intern - Ocr & Document Ai

About the Role:

We are looking for

highly motivated Machine Learning Interns

to work on

advanced AI systems involving document understanding, OCR, and intelligent data extraction

. This role focuses on solving

challenging machine learning problems involving computer vision, text recognition, and document processing

. The selected candidate will work on

high-level ML systems dealing with large-scale real-world datasets

. This internship is best suited for candidates who enjoy

building AI systems from research to production

.

What You Will Work On: You will work on

advanced machine learning systems involving structured and unstructured document processing

. Key areas include: OCR pipeline development and optimization Handwritten and printed text recognition Image preprocessing and enhancement Document layout understanding Intelligent information extraction Model evaluation and performance optimization Building scalable ML inference pipelines The work will involve

research experimentation, model development, and system-level integration

.

Technical Requirements: Core Skills Strong understanding of

Machine Learning and Deep Learning Solid programming skills in

Python ML Frameworks Experience with at least one: PyTorch TensorFlow Computer Vision / OCR Experience with one or more: Tesseract PaddleOCR EasyOCR Custom OCR pipelines Libraries OpenCV NumPy Pandas Scikit-learn

Preferred Skills: Candidates with experience in the following areas will be highly preferred: Handwritten text recognition Computer vision for document analysis Transformer-based architectures Vision Transformers Document layout analysis Sequence-to-sequence models Large-scale dataset handling

What We Look For: We are looking for candidates who: Have built

real ML or AI projects Enjoy solving

complex engineering problems Can quickly prototype ML solutions Have experience reading and implementing

research papers Are comfortable experimenting with

new ML techniques

Education: B.Tech / M.Tech / MS in Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence / Data Science OR Final year students with

strong machine learning projects
