Role Description Inspection & Testing:

Examine products and materials (raw, in-process, finished) for defects, using tools like calipers, gauges, or software. Documentation:

Record test data, prepare inspection reports, and maintain detailed documentation of, re-works, and waste. Compliance:

Ensure production adheres to industry standards, company policies, and safety regulations. Reporting & Action:

Report issues to management and quarantine defective products to prevent shipment. Process Improvement:

Recommend adjustments to manufacturing processes to reduce defects. Equipment Maintenance:

Calibrate and maintain testing

Qualifications Technical Skills:

Proficiency with measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and, in some cases, software. Attention to Detail:

High level of accuracy in identifying deviations from specifications. Analytical Abilities:

Ability to analyze test results and solve problems. Communication:

Verbal and written communication skills for reporting. Experience/Education:

Typically requires 2+ years of experience in a QC role and, for some roles, a related degree in engineering or science
