Role Overview
The Business Analyst Support role within the NCT (Finex) team is responsible for managing change requests, coordinating with Operations and Technology teams, performing quality checks, and supporting module-level walkthroughs for various mutual fund service processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder coordination, and a clear understanding of MF operations and systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Change Request (CR) Management
Manage, review, and analyse all Change Requests (CRs) related to NCT modules under Finex.
Understand business requirements, document functional changes, and ensure CRs follow internal change management guidelines.
Track CR lifecycle, follow up with stakeholders, and ensure timely implementation.
2. Sample-Based Quality Checks
Perform sample-based QC checks on system outputs, transactions, and process executions.
Validate accuracy and compliance with business rules and highlight exceptions proactively.
Document findings and work with relevant teams to ensure timely corrective actions.
3. Operations Collaboration & Module Walkthroughs
Work closely with the Operations Unit to conduct detailed module-level walkthroughs across NCT.
Assist in preparing walkthrough documents, process notes, and training material.
Support knowledge sharing and change impact communication across operations teams.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
Act as a bridge between the Operations Team and Tech Team for requirement clarification, feasibility analysis, and implementation.
Facilitate discussions, clarify business impacts, and ensure alignment across teams.
Support UAT activities by validating functionalities against business expectations.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
4–6 years of experience in business analysis, mutual fund operations, or system enhancement roles.
Experience in Mutual Fund Services or RTA domain preferred.
Technical & Functional Skills
Strong understanding of mutual fund operations and workflow processes.
Experience in requirement gathering, documentation, and CR lifecycle management.
Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; familiarity with ticketing or workflow tools is a plus.
Soft Skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skills.
