Position Description:
Employees part of this function are responsible for building and operating IT hardware and software resources in on-prem, cloud or hybrid scenarios in support of internal customer needs. They are responsible for a wide variety of activities that operationalize cross functional teams such as capacity planning and resource optimization solutions for one-off and long-term workloads, planning, configuring and maintaining servers (including mainframes), creating virtualized environments, providing analytics services, installing and maintaining specialized tools, etc Key Responsibilities 1. Involved in the design, operation, and maintenance of enterprise servers, including specialty mainframe systems like IBM/LPARS, high performance supercomputing systems, and general-purpose hybrid and cloud systems, for optimal end-user business operations. 2. Research, design, implement and maintain complex infrastructure solutions for internal customer needs such as specialty software, data warehouses, identity access management, event frameworks, containerization and on demand scaling, etc. 3. Design and configure secure virtualized environments aligned with enterprise architecture blueprints consisting of virtual machines, virtual networks, high speed and distributed storage systems (SAN, HDFS, SSD, etc.) 4. Utilize existing tools or assist in engineering custom monitoring solutions to ensure systems are configured correctly, run efficiently and remain secure against potential threats. 5. Monitor and review resources like CPU, memory, storage, and network traffic to ensure effective utilization aligned with expected parameters and to safeguard against runaway costs. 6. Resolve bottlenecks and plan for future capacity needs based on resource usage trends. Advise enterprise architecture teams on usage trends to incorporate into future blueprints.

Experience Preferred:
Mandatory Experience: • Experience in handling Documentum Management Servers such as Content Server, Xplore, CTS, Webtop Servers and DQL. • Understanding of Java application server framework. • Familiarity with administrating Java J2EE application servers (WebSphere, Tomcat, WebLogic, etc.). • Experience in Windows operating systems administration. • Experience in Linux/UNIX operating systems (i.e., shell scripting) administration. • Develop knowledge-based articles for other specialists and/or customers regarding technical solutions.

Additional Information :
• The Documentum Engineering Support position will provide primary support and act as liaison between EDMS Engineering, built on OpenText Documentum platform, and users. • The right individual will need to proactively manage user tickets and support day-to-day operations of the EDMS service offerings. • The position would require familiarity with Documentum based architecture and platform, skills in root cause analysis of user issues, administration, and development. • Active interaction with users related to corresponding tickets. • Analysis and troubleshoot of issues, identifying root cause, providing resolution of issues, and prompt closure of tickets without SLA breach. • Developing new processes as required for effective use of EDMS service. • Provide primary level support for Documentum product related issues. • Perform weekly health check of the Documentum infrastructure and communicate to EDMS Engineering team. • Monitor EDMS application and infrastructure, daily, and provide report to EDMS Engineering team. If necessary, proactively submit incidents to appropriate service teams and resolve issues. • Excellent organizational, documentation, communication, and presentation skills (client facing and technical).
