Infosys Consulting – Life Sciences Practice
Infosys Consulting is seeking an accomplished, passionate, and highly skilled Senior Principal or Associate Partner to join our rapidly growing Life Sciences consulting practice, specifically within our
Medical Devices sub-practice
.
As part of our global consulting organization, this role will shape client transformation agendas, drive thought leadership and deliver strategic value across the medical devices and healthcare ecosystem.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrate deep expertise in the
Medical Devices domain
, including product development processes, clinical evaluation, quality management systems, regulatory pathways, post‑market surveillance, and digital health innovations.
Understand and advise on
end-to-end medical device lifecycle processes
, covering design & development, manufacturing operations, quality systems, device software/embedded systems, UDI, labeling, and compliance needs across global markets.
Apply a
rare blend of domain, process, technical, and consulting skills
to help clients solve complex business challenges and implement transformative solutions.
Serve as a
trusted advisor
to senior client stakeholders, showcasing strong consulting abilities such as client relationship management, critical thinking, structured problem‑solving, and executive‑level communication.
Drive
digital enablement initiatives
across medical device organizations—including data-driven operating models, connected device ecosystems, platform modernization, AI/ML adoption, and next-gen quality & regulatory technology systems.
Lead sales pursuits in collaboration with broader Infosys teams; oversee proposal development, solutioning, and client presentations.
Demonstrate excellence in
consulting craft
, including value realization, process re-engineering, design thinking, agile delivery methodologies, and organizational change management.
Develop and publish
thought leadership
, participate in analyst forums, represent Infosys Consulting at industry conferences, and contribute to practice development.
Coach and mentor junior consultants; foster a culture of collaboration, growth, and innovation within the practice.
Travel up to 4 days a week to multiple client sites as needed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 15 years of experience
in the medical devices or broader healthcare/life sciences domain, with hands-on exposure to product development, quality, regulatory, clinical, or digital transformation functions.
Candidate should have a rare blend of industry domain, process, technical and consulting skills. Consulting skills should entail client relationship management, effective executive communication, critical thinking in a consultative approach with our clients.
Master’s degree
in Life Sciences, Medical, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
MBA is an added advantage.
Proven experience in the
medical devices or pharma space
, with strong understanding of industry regulations (EU MDR/IVDR, FDA 21 CFR, ISO 13485, IEC 62304, etc.) and domain-specific systems (PLM, QMS/eQMS, MES, labeling solutions, device software platforms, EHR integration platforms, CRM, IOT, etc.).
Demonstrated capability in
client relationship management
, executive communication, and consultative problem-solving with C‑suite and senior functional leaders.
