Workday Compensation and Benefits Functional Analyst

3-6 months+
Work Schedule : 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Work Hours:
IST (day close around 1 PM EST)
Location : 100% Remote
We are hiring a
very senior Workday Functional Analyst
with deep expertise in
Workday Compensation and Benefits
to support a large-scale
global HR transformation . This role will focus on
production support, hypercare, and stabilization
during and after a
multi-country Workday go-live (31 countries) .
Key Responsibilities
Provide hands-on support for
Workday Compensation and Benefits
modules during implementation and post go-live
Configure and support salary plans, merit cycles, bonuses, incentives, and compensation review events
Configure and manage benefits plans, open enrollment, eligibility rules, and country-specific variations
Support
hypercare, cutover, and stabilization
activities
Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure smooth employee experience
Collaborate with HR, Total Rewards, IT, and regional teams
Write and execute test scripts and support UAT cycles
Provide functional guidance and end-user support
Required Skills & Experience
Workday Certification in Compensation and/or Benefits (mandatory)
Strong hands-on configuration experience in
both Compensation and Benefits
Experience supporting
global, multi-country Workday implementations
Deep understanding of compensation cycles, benefits dependencies, and downstream impacts (Payroll, Absence, Time)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Very senior-level role
Global implementation exposure required
