Multi-property (4-Star Hotels)

Position Summary : The Cluster Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing revenue, profitability, and market share across a portfolio of 4-star hotels within Portugal. The role develops and implements revenue management strategies, pricing models, and distribution tactics to optimize overall performance across all properties within the cluster. This position requires strong analytical capability, strategic thinking, and in-depth knowledge of the Portuguese hospitality and tourism market.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Revenue Strategy & Optimization Develop and execute cluster-wide revenue management strategies. Optimize pricing, inventory control, and segmentation across all properties. Monitor and adjust rates based on demand patterns, seasonality, and competitive analysis. Drive RevPAR index growth and market penetration.

2. Forecasting & Budgeting Prepare short-term and long-term demand forecasts. Contribute to annual budgeting and financial planning processes. Analyse pick-up trends, booking pace, and displacement analysis. Provide weekly and monthly revenue performance reports to senior management.

3. Distribution & Channel Management Manage OTA, GDS, direct channels, and third-party partnerships. Ensure optimal channel mix and cost of acquisition. Oversee rate parity and distribution strategy compliance. Collaborate with digital marketing teams to optimize online visibility and conversion.

4. Competitive & Market Analysis Conduct competitor benchmarking and rate shopping analysis. Monitor local market trends, events, and tourism patterns in Portugal. Identify new revenue opportunities within corporate, leisure, group, and MICE segments.

5. Collaboration & Leadership Work closely with General Managers, Sales Managers, and Front Office teams across the cluster. Lead cluster revenue meetings and performance reviews. Provide training and guidance on revenue management best practices.

6. Systems & Data Management Manage revenue management systems (RMS), PMS, and channel managers. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems. Utilize analytics tools to drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, Economics, or related field. Minimum 35 years of experience in Revenue Management within 4-star or 5-star hotels. Experience managing multiple properties preferred. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Proficiency in RMS, PMS, channel management systems, and Excel. Fluency in Portuguese and English required; additional languages advantageous. Strong understanding of the Portuguese tourism market and seasonality dynamics.
