Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Executive to manage and support core HR operations across the employee lifecycle. The role involves handling HR policies, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, performance and competency management, and day-to-day HR activities to ensure smooth people operations.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Policy Management
- Implement, maintain, and update HR policies and procedures in line with company objectives and statutory requirements
- Ensure consistent interpretation and application of HR policies across the organization
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies and processes
Leave & Attendance Management
- Manage leave management systems, attendance records, and shift data
- Ensure accurate leave balances, approvals, and reporting
- Coordinate with managers for leave planning and compliance
Payroll & Salary Processing
- Coordinate monthly payroll processing, including salary calculations, deductions, incentives, and reimbursements
- Ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement
- Address payroll-related queries and discrepancies
Statutory Compliance (PF, ESIC, etc.)
- Manage Provident Fund (PF), ESIC, and other statutory compliances
- Ensure timely filings, challans, returns, and documentation
- Liaise with consultants and government authorities when required
Performance Management
- Support the performance appraisal process, including goal setting, reviews, and evaluations
- Assist in implementing and improving performance management frameworks
- Maintain performance records and analytics
Competency Management & Employee Development
- Assist in defining and maintaining competency frameworks
- Support skill mapping, competency assessments, and development initiatives
- Coordinate training and learning activities as required
HR Records & Reporting
- Maintain accurate employee records, HRMIS data, and documentation
- Prepare HR reports and dashboards for management review
- Support audits and internal reviews
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in core HR operations
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, payroll, and statutory compliance
- Hands-on experience with HRMS / payroll systems
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and confidentiality
