Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Embedded Firmware Test Engineer with strong experience in Python-based test automation and firmware testing on Linux/RTOS platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in validating embedded firmware, developing automated test frameworks, and ensuring high-quality firmware releases.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform embedded firmware testing across Linux and RTOS-based systems - Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Python and PyTest - Execute manual and automated firmware test cases to validate functionality, performance, and stability - Analyze firmware behavior, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution - Develop reusable and scalable Python automation scripts following OOP principles - Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution activities - Ensure test coverage across system, integration, and regression testing - Document test results, defects, and test procedures clearly

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong programming skills in Python with solid knowledge of OOP concepts - Hands-on experience in Embedded Firmware Testing - Practical experience testing firmware on Linux and/or RTOS environments - Expertise in PyTest framework for test automation - Experience in test automation development using Python - Understanding of firmware testing methodologies and test life cycle - Ability to debug issues and analyze logs in embedded environments

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

- Experience with embedded hardware platforms and peripherals - Knowledge of version control tools (Git) - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for test automation - Basic understanding of communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN)
