Job Summary Sanmarg Hindi Newspaper is seeking a detail-oriented Photo Corrector

to manage, edit, and ensure the accuracy and quality of photographs used across the newspaper’s print and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will handle image correction, selection, verification, and coordination with reporters and photographers to ensure timely delivery of publication-ready photos.

Key Responsibilities Select, review, and correct photographs for print and digital publication. Adjust image clarity, brightness, contrast, cropping, and overall visual quality. Ensure that all photos meet editorial and technical standards before publication. Verify captions, photographer credits, and ensure accuracy of information. Coordinate with photographers, reporters, and editors for required visuals. Maintain an organized photo archive for easy future reference. Ensure ethical use of images and follow newsroom guidelines. Edit images quickly and efficiently to meet tight deadlines. Assist in sourcing relevant images when required.

Qualifications & Skills 1–3 years of experience in photo editing or working on a photo desk. Proficiency in photo editing tools (Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar software). Strong eye for detail, composition, and visual quality. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good understanding of news photography and editorial ethics. Strong communication and coordination skills.
