We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking
Technology Engineer, Wind
to play a critical role in strengthening and expanding our technical expertise in wind energy technologies. In this role, you will contribute to the development, execution, and optimization of our technical services in the wind sector, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions that meet industry standards.
As a key technical expert, you will conduct advanced technology studies, perform technical due diligence, support service innovation, and provide after-sales technical support to clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive service excellence and technical leadership in the global wind energy market.

Position Overview
As the
Technology Engineer, Wind , you will serve as a subject matter expert in wind turbine technologies and associated systems, including turbines, blades, gearboxes, generators, control systems, towers, foundations, and grid integration, being the technology expert in the company and with clients.
You will support the evaluation, benchmarking, and improvement of wind technologies while contributing to the development of innovative technical services. This position offers the opportunity to work with clients on advanced onshore and offshore wind projects, collaborate with international teams, and contribute to technical excellence across the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
Perform technology reviews, risk assessments, and product evaluations related to wind turbine systems, including audits, inspections, conformity assessments, field testing, and technical due diligence.
Prepare detailed technology reports, benchmarking analyses, roadmaps, and support market intelligence insights for internal and external stakeholders.
Develop and prepare new services and technical documentation related to wind manufacturing, risk, testing and performance.
Contribute to the ideation, development, and implementation of innovative service offerings in wind technology.
Collaborate with cross-functional service lines to develop technical guidelines, manufacturing assessments, and technology qualification frameworks.
Deliver on-site technical projects, applying wind technology standards and collaborating with contractors, OEMs, developers, and project teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure compliance.
Conduct performance assessments of wind turbines and associated components, ensuring functionality, reliability, and adherence to industry standards.
Evaluate turbine design, blade integrity, drivetrain performance, electrical systems, SCADA systems, and grid compliance requirements.
Provide expert input in the design and enhancement of new technical services aligned with evolving wind technology trends and client needs.
Deliver specialized technical training on wind technologies to internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Ensure services are delivered on time and in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Act as a trusted technology expert and advisory to clients, supporting post-delivery queries, troubleshooting issues, and building long-term relationships.
Qualifications and Experience
Masterโs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field. PhD is a plus.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in the renewables sector, with at least 5 years specifically in wind energy technologies (onshore and/or offshore).
Advanced knowledge of wind turbine systems including blades, nacelle components, gearboxes, generators, power converters, control systems, towers, foundations, and grid integration.
Strong understanding of international wind industry standards (IEC, ISO, grid codes, certification frameworks).
Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing of wind turbines and components.
Experience in wind turbine technology benchmarking, technical due diligence, and product evaluation including testing and technology risk assessment.
Proven experience in client-facing technical roles, managing stakeholder communication effectively.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
Expertise in preparing high-quality technical documentation and advisory reports.
Familiarity with quality assurance frameworks and service delivery processes within the wind sector.
A proactive mindset with strong interest in innovation and emerging wind technologies.
As a plus:
Professional certification in Renewable Energy or Sustainability (e.g., Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Renewable Energy Professional (REP))
Knowledge of offshore wind technologies is considered an advantage
Familiarity with SCADA systems, performance analysis, and condition monitoring systems.
