Role Overview -

We are looking for a Growth Marketing Lead who will own growth end-to-end and act like a venture owner.

This is not a narrow marketing role. You will be responsible for driving users, revenue, conversion, retention, and experimentation across the entire Ostello ecosystem.

You will work directly with founders and own the growth of the business like it’s your own.



What You’ll Own (End-to-End) -

1. Overall Growth & Revenue Ownership • Own end-to-end growth of Ostello — from user acquisition to revenue • Build and execute the growth roadmap for the venture • Take full responsibility for growth numbers, not just campaigns • Think and act like a business owner, not just a marketer



2. User Acquisition (Paid + Organic) • Drive user acquisition across: • Meta, Google, YouTube, Influencers • App installs and web traffic • Optimize CAC while scaling volume • Own full funnel: ad → landing → app → payment • Build repeatable and scalable acquisition systems



3. Marketplace & Demand Growth • Grow demand for: • Instant live sessions • Trial classes • Paid courses • Work closely with educators to improve: • Discovery • Conversion • Booking & payments • Balance student demand and educator supply



4. Funnel, Conversion & Retention • Improve conversion across: • Signup → session booking • Session → payment • Trial → repeat purchase • Identify drop-offs and fix them with product, content, or pricing • Own retention, repeat usage, and LTV growth



5. Pricing, Offers & Monetization • Design and test: • Trial pricing (₹29 / ₹49 / ₹99) • Session pricing • Subscription or bundle models • Own revenue experiments and monetization strategy • Balance growth, affordability, and margins



6. Experimentation & Data • Build a strong experimentation culture • Run weekly experiments across: • Ads • Creatives • Pricing • Landing pages • App flows • Track metrics like: • CAC, LTV, conversion, ARPU • Use data to make fast decisions



7. Cross-Functional Leadership • Work closely with: • Product & tech teams • Educator success • Sales & support • Translate growth insights into product improvements • Act as the bridge between business, product, and marketing



8. Team & Process Building • Build the growth function from scratch • Hire and manage performance marketers, analysts, or agencies • Set growth processes, dashboards, and weekly reviews



Who Should Apply

Must-Have • Strong experience in growth marketing or revenue growth • Experience scaling consumer apps or marketplaces • Clear understanding of funnels, unit economics, and trade-offs • High ownership mindset; comfortable with ambiguity • Ability to execute and strategize at the same time

Good to Have • Edtech, marketplace, or consumer tech experience • Experience in early-stage startups • Product-led growth exposure
